It´s finally done! I have published my very own photography website! I have gone back and forth, hesitated , thinking "I´m not good enough" etc etc. But Following advice from my favorite photographer Christina Greve´, I should not focus on those thoughts, but focus on what my dreams are instead. Sure, there are people that will not like it. Thinking it´s nun professional and such. But sigh..I have to ignore such matters! Thank you also all my fellow students from the workshop! So, This is my first ever "studio" shots. I simply used a curtain as a backdrop, and hung it in my kitchen. I had to make rearrange in there a bit, and try to move the lamp out of our way. My friend Crisse was assisting me, holding the reflector while I shot Bella. This is all natural light. I´m a newbie , but it turned out the way I had pictured it! Thank you Bella!  I can not emphasize enough how much the workshop has meant to me! Wow! I never knew the endless possibilities there are to control your photos! To actually sometimes get the photo you had imagined in your head! This one is a self portrait , because I had no model. It was difficult. Lack of space and light , and the fact that I almost forgot to go pick up Micah from preschool! Oy! There are so many things that I would have wanted in this photo, but it was homework, and that is what is was ment to be used as. Just thought I would share something from my ongoing workshop journey. (ok already, I´ll stop talking about it in every post) ;) back 12/04/2011
 Phew!! New starts appearently meant new pauses in blogging ... But here I am again. December is here, with very odd weather. Last year we where practically covered in snow by this time. But now..Not so much. I found a rose with buds today. Forecast says snow this week! Oh, I hope that for ones they are right ! Micah prayed for snow the other day. ( well..I kind of started it ). I´m on week 4 in my workshop hosted by Christina at Divas and Dreams , and sadly, sadly, next week is the last . I have learned so much! I just love love love it! I feel strengthened in my photography skills, and a tiny bit more confident. Micah turned three in November, And he is such a big boy now! wow! . I am not allowed to "click" on him nowadays , So the only new photo I have, has to be saved for later, as it is a surprise for someone special ;) This is his self portrait though :)  we also got a little kitty cat!  I guess it´s a chance to start all over (when you kind of have to), to start on a blank page and make it the way you really wanted it to be (like that is ever going to happen). I´m talking about my blog. As you know, I accidentally deleted the whole thing, and so, it will be a while til I get it the way I want to. But here I am. Starting all over :) Also, I´m starting something else today. My very first photography workshop, hosted by Christina at Divas and Dreams . I´m so so very excited :) see ya! |
