 I Love denim! pretty much always have. Josh does not like denim. Pretty much never did. But I really have been looking for a denim jacket for spring/summer, and I have been rather irritated that all of the ones I found ended just beneeth my boobs. ( not what I call a jacket!!) But the other week I found one!! I Loved it!! And as a matter of fact, Josh said it was cute. But it was a bit on the pricy side and we left the store. But while I was trying on other ones in another store (totally frumpy looking), he went and bought it for me!! I love him :) I bought art! 04/14/2011
In my teens, my mother got to know a very special lady. Special, as in strong, charismatic, dynamic and much more. That is how I remember her. Cecilia. , She is an artist. My parents really admired her skills, amazed of the feeling in them she had managed so beautifully to capture. (we had a few on our walls) My grandmother bought from her, a huge one for me when I was thirteen I think. It was one of Jesus blessing the children. I Loved it! As the years went by, we didn´t have much contact at all, but a few years ago, I found her again through facebook! ( nothing like social networking!) And now..being a grownup, with my own family, I had the opportunity to buy my own art from her! I have been "eye-ing" the updates of her work thru fb for quite some time now, and then one day..I fell in love with this :  -på Promenad- (´on a walk´) it is so...me! I had to buy it! It is Mine! I really wanted something to go with it. a friend ;) So I asked if maybe she would paint something more for me. To go with it. I had no idea what it was going to be, and then she sent me this picture that she had me and Micah in mind when she painted. She said..."I made you with long red hair Dana, because I think that is what you really have;)"... lol uhm yeah...no! ;) I bought that one too!  -Modersglädje-( `mother´s joy`) They are shipped, and hopefully will arrive soon!
