I Heart Faces- Anything but a face 02/28/2011
This weekend, We went down to Skania to celebrate my grandfather who turned 90! ( pictures of that later on ) While we had some time to waste before the party begun, me, Micah and my sister went down from the hostel we stayed at, 50 meters to the beach! I Love the ocean! It was cold, and windy! but I love it and I remember our summers here, growing up. I´m returning for sure this coming summer! I am entering this photo in this weeks photochallenge at I Heart Faces. I Love it how he goes "hihihi" -"You can´t catch me with that pose you want" (In my mind he is saying that). I also Love the fact his one eye is half closed. That is how I always turn out in pictures. I have to really really concentrate or look away if both my eyes are to remain open in the photo. For other great smirks, go to I Heart Faces and check those entries out! In The Kitchen 08/20/2010
This weeks theme at the You capture photo challenge(at I Sould be Folding Laundry) was "in The Kitchen". And since I do not usually take picture there, I thought it would be fun to take the challenge! It was fun. Although, the meatballs got a bit burnt. Micah was on a chair by the zink "helping" me to cook. He was mainly just eating peas :) Here is my Picture: Click on the button at the top (yay. I can add buttons)-to check out some other great entries! got to wear shades- I Heart Faces 08/16/2010

Ok I know I´m getting a bit too into it maybe. But I´m addicted for the time being. To enter these photo-challenges. But they´re just so inspiring. And good for me! Because it makes me realise that there is just so many people out there following their passion. Hobby-photographer and professional! All come together and share a bit of their lifes and art. It makes me S M I L E ! So here is my entry for Sweet Shot Tuesday at My 3 boybarians.com I took this of Micah playing with his tractor this evening! He sure loves those cars! I like it because I managed to actually focus on his hand for once! Because for a change, he was still ;) ( I still can´t figure out how to paste that button into the actual post, But I do have the button. waaay down on the page, because that´s the only place I seem to be able to add them on.) play 07/29/2010
So, I thought it was so much fun to participate in last weeks photo challenge at Beth´s You Capture, that I thought I would give it a go again! Since this week the theme is Play, it was pretty easy, having a toddler and all :) Also, My best friend is here with her two youngets little boys, and so I took a bunch of pictures by now. This is one of them. Only of Micah himself though. I´ll post more from this "adventure with small children" later. Sunday ;) Now, I must go destroy an Ice Cream truck!!! Gaaaahhh! Micah´s toy ice cream truck is old and there is something funky with the batteries or something...I don´t know, but I won´t stop playing that tune over and over and over again. I tried to take the batteries out but the lid is stuck, and so I paniced before; when Micah was trying to fall asleep, Li´s baby whining in my arms while Li was trying to calm Matteo down. I just stuck that stupid truck under a pillow on the hatshelf in the hallway. But you can still hear it!!!! It gets quiet for a while and then..........it starts again...... Seriously. I´m thinking the hammer here. You Capture -Black&White 07/24/2010
After following this here blog, for a while, and being inspired by Beth´s weekly photo challenges in You Capture, I finally decided to go for it and enter! Here is what I´ve got for this challege ... This last photo may seem a bit tacky maybe...But, I was out on the balcony, and I looked at that old rusty Vespa that we still didn´t get rid of, and I thought about how much I love my husband, and how I so look forward to growing old together with him. (sometimes I´m just a bit silly romantic, I know) (I hope I got the links to work, as I had a bit of a problem there for I while.) I never went to see my sister this weekend :( I got sick, and so we´ll just do it some other time. SOON! (ps. thanks to my sister-in-law for inspiring me to get on one of these challenges) | MeHi, I'm Dana. I'm a Swede, married to an American, and mother of one little boy. I have just entered my 3rd decade and I'm just beginning to find out who I am. It's an ongoing process, really. To help, I have my Lord Jesus by my side. I think He must have a lot of patience.
